Iceland’s Creative Collective Returns with a Bold Fusion of Rock, Indie, and Shoegaze
Icelandic collective VOGOR is set to release their latest album, "Vol II," on Friday, October 11, 2024. This record continues the band’s exploration of atmospheric soundscapes, blending shoegaze, indie rock, and lo-fi elements with a nostalgic nod to the ‘80s indie and goth scenes.
"Vol II" takes listeners on a journey filled with lush, reverb-soaked guitars, emotive vocals, and that unmistakable Icelandic touch of melancholic beauty. While the album draws heavily from ‘80s shoegaze and indie rock, VOGOR infuses their own distinct style, making this record a unique statement of sonic creativity.
The project is the result of a collaboration between members of the acclaimed Icelandic band Stafrænn Hákon and the Vogor Records community, a creative collective dedicated to crafting authentic and experimental music.
